Our goal is to answer the number one question asked of climate scientists:
“What else can I do?”
With a team of young adults, we’re generating individual and collective action through engaging events, high-quality resources, and a local climate network full of inspiring people and impactful ideas.
We believe that protecting what we love motivates us to find powerful solutions and a passionate community to sustain our action for the long haul.

Hi, I'm Beth.
I created Mtn Bio from a deep appreciation for the Roaring Fork Valley (both the people and the land) and a desire to bring my creative energy and the wisdom of nature to the daunting problem of climate change. Tough issues, like climate, often feel too overwhelming to pick up alone, but through engaging events, good conversation, and new perspectives, we begin to see what's possible.
We're a small but mighty team of valley locals building a vibrant hub that highlights climate solutions and sustainable living practices.
We host community conversations that amplify the inspiring work of local business owners, climate experts, and national thought leaders while connecting people to climate solutions aligned with their own interests and unique leverage.
From my roots in outdoor education and training in biomimicry, Mtn Bio turns to nature for inspiration and answers, recognizing that a sustainable future depends on our ability to love, learn from, and lead with nature in mind.
